This particular pack is without a doubt inspired by the Kobe Bryant commercial in which they shows Ronnie Turiaf and the rest of us how to jump over an Aston Martin DB9. Both sneakers feature the exact color method that the automobile possessed in the commercial. Graphite grey makes up most of both sneakers, while minimal red and tan hints can be seen throughout the tongue, inner lining and various branding. The packaging is even more impressive. Nike decided to place a silhouette of Kobe getting ready to leap over the vehicle on the package with the phrase “That’s How You Do It” repeating all over (if you recall, Kove repeatedly said these words after jumping over the automobile). As stated earlier, you can purchase the pack now at KICKZ. Click here to view photos and check out the video of Kobe jumping the Aston Martin two more time.
At the beginning of this month, they supplied you with detailed photos and additional information regarding the Nike Hyperdunk & Zoom Kobe V “Aston Martin” Pack. At the time, no release date information had surfaced. However, they have now learned that this pack is available now at overseas retailers such as KICKZ.

Air Jordan Alpha 1 Lineup

The Air Jordan Alpha 1 seems to divide readers every time one’s posted. Plenty of appreciate the modern update to the classic silhouette, while others fail to see the AJ1–in any incarnation–as a performance shoe. For late Spring & Summer though, JB will push forward with the design.
Every panel on the first is covered in black, adding yet another to the list of shoes trying to “all black everything” approach. A metallic silver Wings logo works for both contrast & branding. Another shoe we’ve seen before, the White/Black-Varsity Red pair, will release around the same time in May. Finally, June will give us an “Old Love, New Love” look with a black & yellow technique.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High – “School Daze” pack

Spike Lee & Jordan brand has collaborated again to bring you some kicks in time for the new school year. This time getting inspiration from one of Spike Lee’s joints, School Daze. One of the sneaks actually rocks the purple yellow & white from the very same movie poster( you ought to recall)with a strap. Also, adding more to the school theme, the swoosh uses a varsity patch material to complete the look. The other sneaker has no strap, a leather swoosh & gets its colors from the fraternity, Gamma Phi Gamma, featured in the movie. This pack will surely sell out quickly when they drop soon.

Nike SB Blazer Matte Silver & Black

Nike SB’s April lineup has surfaced, & even released, earlier than expected. Two of the skate line’s releases are these Blazers, which are keeping their look tidy, simple & monotone. Flatspot has the jump on the competition overseas, if you can’t wait for their stateside release.
The first relies on black suede for its upper, with graphite grey as the choice color for the Swoosh, liner & embroidery. A white sole is used, matching the primary laces. The second uses a slight bit more color, as Midnight Navy is in place at various accent points throughout the Matte Silver shoe, including the Swoosh & heel panel. Red is & a selected accent color.

Nike Air Max Hyperize “Final Four Pack”

Last week they announced the arrival of the Nike Air Max Hyperize in the States. The newest member to the hyper-family takes the hyperize silhouette and fuses it with a full-length Air Max 360 sole unit, like that used on the Air Max LeBron VII. Unbeknownest to us at the time but apparently the Black/Royal-White version they showed you last week is part of a larger pack honoring the 2010 NCAA Final Three.
With March Madness in the air it’s nice to see that Nike’s put together a few colorways of the newest Air Max Hyperize inspired by a quantity of the teams participating. This is of work an unofficial Final Three Pack, as it's yet to be determined who’ll actually be making it to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, TN for the Large Dance.
To be honest with you, I’m not a biggest college basketball fan, so I can’t call out each team colorway here, but those who do watch are sure to know what’s what here. The small that I do know though tells me that the black/royal-white version is inspired by Duke and the white/metallic gold-black version falls in line with Purdue, which is a small ironic cause Purdue outlasted Illinois A&M in overtime and will be facing off against Duke on Friday. So three of them defiantly won’t be making in to the Final Three. When it comes to the other one and which teams they represent you’re on your own. Three sports varsity red/black-white and the other white/midnight navy-varsity red. Featured on the tongue of all three is a pair of scissors above a basketball net, with a dotted line across the top to signify where those who win the Dance will cut the net.
All three colorways of the Nike Air Hyperize shown here in the “Final Three Pack” are available now through Eastbay for $145.

UCF Signs Shoe Contract with Nike

In detail, UCF & Nike agreed on a five-year contract in which Nike will provide shoes & apparel for all sports at the university. “We had explored a quantity of different options with a quantity of different manufacturers & equipment providers & ultimately they have reached an agreement with Nike,” said David Chambers, UCF executive associate athletic director.
Obviously, Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan, found himself at the center of brand battle between Jordan Brand & Adidas last year (see our Top 9 Sneaker Stories of ‘09). Although the University of Central Florida was an Adidas-sponsored school, Marcus Jordan ultimately wore stayed loyal to his dad’s brand & wore Air Jordans on the court. Adidas terminated its contract with UCF; however they have learned that UCF has signed a contract with Nike. It is funny how things turn out some times, right?
UCF’s deal with adidas ends June 30, & the newly-developed Nike agreement officially begins July 1. Click here to share your thoughts on this new agreement.

Air Force Friday: Pixie Stix

Summer is right around the corner, & with the bright sun comes bright-colored clothes & kicks. In 2006, Nike dropped this beauty & dubbed it the “Pixie Stix” Air Force 1s. This pair was a premium quickstrike (like lots of 06 patent leather AF1’s) release, so unfortunately, they sold out out fast.
Nike decided to use only two colors of patent leather on the upper. Specifically, the light blue patent leather toe cap/midfoot contrasts perfectly with the yellow patent leather heel. It is also complimented with a white patent leather swoosh, a white midsole as well as a yellow outsole. Its complimentary, unique touches include a yellow/blue tongue label that gives it that summer feel. Did you manage to grab a pair in 2006? Click here to share with us your view on this shoe.
If you need your Air Force Friday story on the site, you must do two simple things. First, become a fan of Lovely Kicks Facebook, then, send your story along with a picture of you with the shoes to Wholesale-shox.com. Title the subject Air Force Friday.

Nike Air Max 90 Infrared

The mudguard is black, as is the top plastic eyelet. Elsewhere, the remainder of the upper is grey nubuck & white mesh. The famed Infrared color appears on the outsole, heel, Air Max window surround & midfoot, adding the namesake color in spades. Be on the look out for these in July.
The Nike Air Max 90 Infrared is a special shoe to plenty of collectors. Similar to the Air Max 95 “Neon,” this colorway is the most popular & sought- after for this silhouette. & later this year, it can be yours again.

Nike Air Force 1 Low NRF

The select few who participate in the Nike Recess Federation are envied for the exclusive Nikes they receive. The latest NRF make-up to get some shine is this Nike Air Force 1 Low. The shoe was made for the league’s All-Star Weekend & is therefore similar to three of the AF1s created for the NBA All-Star Weekend.
The NRF version substitutes the Illinois basketball logo for its own stamp. Otherwise, the make-up remains the same with blue patent leather & a shimmering silver swoosh. Hit the flip for a larger look.

Air Jordan 6 Retro White/Varsity Red

The Air Jordan 6 Retro has garnered a lot of attention as of late. In January, Jordan Brand unleashed the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Varsity Red; however, rumors of an Air Jordan 6 Retro “Infrared” Pack literally focused everybody’s attention towards this summer. However, we have now spotted another Air Jordan 6 Retro that will release later this year.
A lot of wondered why JB would release a black/infrared Air Jordan 6 Retro after unleashing the black/red Air Jordan 6 earlier this year. Well, it seems JB will do the same thing with the primarily white pair. The minimal red hints appear on the midsole, the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the heel tab. Other features include a clear outsole, a black tongue and white shoelaces. No word on when this shoe will release; meanwhile, click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Zoom Barcelona

If you recall, they showed you a preview of this shoe this past fall; however, they now have additional photos of this upcoming sneaker. The Nike Zoom Barcelona pays tribute to the Air Ballistic Force High that David Robinson wore in the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. Seeing that this shoe has everything to do with the USA team, it possesses sort of a red, white & blue color method. The upper is mainly white with multiple blue panels on the base. Its most glaring attributes include gold hints such as the swoosh border & Nike branding on the midfoot strap. Check out its gradient-like design on the midsole. What are our thoughts on the Nike Zoom Barcelona? Click here to view detailed photos.
Nike Basketball has a slew of lovely sneakers set for a summer release including the Nike Air Max Hyperize & the Nike Hyperfuse. In addition, Nike Basketball will also unleash the newly-designed Nike Zoom Barcelona.

Rumor: Air Jordan 13 Retro 2010 Holiday Releases

Following the surprising news of the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Infrared” Pack, they have now heard a rumor that Jordan Brand will also release a two-set of the Air Jordan 13 Retro this upcoming holiday season. Although the aforementioned Air Jordan 6s are said to release in a pack, these six Air Jordan Retro 13s will potentially be sold separately.
Specifically, Jordan Brand will supposedly unleash the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Flint Grey” and the Air Jordan 13 Retro White/Black-True Red later this year. If you recall, the Air Jordan 13 Retro White/Black-True Red hasn’t been seen since it first released in 1998; however, the “Flint Grey” Air Jordan 13s last released in 2005. What are your thoughts on the potential release of these six classic Jordans? Stay tuned for additional information; meanwhile, click here to share your thoughts.

Nike Blazer Hi Vintage Black/White

After showing you the Nike Blazer Hi Vintage Stone/Sail earlier this month, there was mixed reviews on the deliberate discoloring of the tongue & sole. A number of you would like a clean-looking sneaker from the jump, while others dig the vintage look. If you are the latter, they have now spotted the Nike Blazer Hi Vintage Hi Black/White at select retailers including Atmos.
Much like the stone/sail colorway they mentioned earlier, this particular Blazer features the vintage-like discoloration on the sole & tongue. On the contrary, tidy, white pristine leather is spotted on the enlarged swoosh & heel panel. Its primarily black suede base is also accompanied by white shoelaces as well as a white inner lining. Click here to view additional photos.

Air Jordans

Air Jordans were an instant hit thanks to a high flying rookie as well as one of the best marketing campaigns put together by Weiden and Kennedy. Air Jordan shoes have been the top selling signature basketball shoe that Nike has ever produced. In addition to the signature Air Jordans, Jordan Brand has a major presence in the basketball and lifestyle market.
Despite the fact that Michael Jordan retired from basketball in 2003 (for the 3rd time) Air Jordans are still the top selling models for many sneaker retailers. The legacy of Michael Jordan lives on with the release of new Jordans each year and re-releasing retro Air Jordans. Retro Air Jordan shoes are remakes of the classic Air Jordans either in the colors Mike wore back in the day, or slightly modified to match with current trends.
Beginning in 2005, Jordan Brand has brought back several “hybrid” Jordan shoes that take individual components from different Air Jordans and form one individual shoe. As part of the 23 year celebration, Jordan Brand started a multi-year campaign “fusing” the Air Force 1 with Air Jordans creating the Air Jordan Fusions.

Release Reminder: Jordan 6 Rings Premier + Jordan Fusion 8 “Aqua”

This Saturday, March 6th, 2010, Jordan Brand will its first Nike Jordan 6 Rings and Fusion 8 of the year in the form of the Jordan 6 Rings Premier and the Air Jordan Fusion 8 “Aqua”, respectively.
The Nike Jordan 6 Rings ($175), follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Nike Air Jordan 6 Retro “Motorsports”. It possesses a white premium leather combined with a black midsole. It also owns a white, mesh-like texture throughout the midfoot and contains a black/white inner lining. As for the Air Jordan Fusion 8, it obviously borrows its colorway from the classic Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” and will retail for $140. Its primarily black suede base is highlighted by the various aquatone hints seen on the heel, tongue and outsole. Are any one of these sneakers a definite pickup for you tomorrow.
